The X Away From Free Shipping app encourages shoppers to add more items to their cart (thus increasing your site's Average Order Value, or AOV) by showing a customizable 'You're only $X away from free shipping' message on the Cart page. Once the customer's order total is sufficient to qualify them for free shipping, the message automatically updates to confirm that shipping will be free.
This app user guide is organized into 3 sections:
CLICK HERE to download the X Away From Free Shipping app from the Shopify App Store. On this page, click the green 'Add app' button and then follow the prompts to add the app to your Shopify store. You'll see that our app includes a 7-day free trial before the first $3.99 monthly billing (which is processed by Shopify as part of your regular monthly Shopify subscription).
In your Shopify admin panel, navigate to the Online Store > Themes page. At the top of the page, you'll see a picture of your "live theme" (desktop version and mobile version). To launch the Theme Editor (i.e. Customizer), simply click the green 'Customize' button.
Navigate to the Cart page (either by using the top-center dropdown menu to select 'Cart' or by navigating to the Cart page within the main preview window).
You can add 'X Away From Free Shipping' as either a stand-alone section OR as a block within the 'Subtotal' section...or both!
To add it as a stand-alone section, simply click the 'Add section' link towards the bottom of the left panel. To add it as a block with the 'Subtotal' section, click the 'Add block' link within the 'Subtotal' section in the left panel. In either case, you can then drag & drop it to the location you want it to appear on the page.
All settings for this app are located in Shopify Theme Editor (i.e. Customizer) as part of the 'X Away From Free Shipping' section/block. There are no settings in the app itself.
Once you've added the 'X Away From Free Shipping' section/block to your Cart page template (as outlined above), click the 'X Away From Free Shipping' section/block title in the left menu. The following settings/options will appear:
